Regulation On The Protection And Use Of Agricultural Land Was Published
Turkey's new Regulation on the Protection and Use of Agricultural Land establishes comprehensive procedures for classifying, protecting, and managing agricultural land, while strictly limiting non-agricultural use to exceptional circumstances. The regulation introduces a Soil Conservation Board, mandates alternative site assessments for development projects, and prohibits unauthorized structures on protected agricultural land with enforcement mechanisms including demolition and restoration requirements.
