Enerji sektörü, üretim, iletim ve dağıtım faaliyetlerinin kesintisiz biçimde sürdürülmesinin gerekli olduğu sektörlerin başında gelmektedir. Elektrik üretim santralleri, doğal gaz tesisleri, rafineriler ve enerji dağıtım merkezleri gibi birçok işyerinde faaliyetlerin günün her saatinde devam etmesi nedeniyle postalar halinde çalışma sistemi yaygın olarak uygulanmaktadır. Özellikle enerji üretiminin kesintisiz şekilde gerçekleştirilmesi ve üretilen enerjinin tüketicilere düzenli olarak ulaştırılabilmesi, postalar halinde çalışma sistemini sektörün temel çalışma modellerinden biri haline getirmiştir.

The energy sector is among the sectors where the uninterrupted continuation of production, transmission, and distribution activities is essential. Since operations must continue around the clock at many workplaces, such as power plants, natural gas facilities, refineries, and energy distribution centers, shift work systems are widely implemented. In particular, the need to ensure uninterrupted energy production and the regular delivery of that energy to consumers have made the shift work system one of the sector’s fundamental operating models.

Yenilenebilir enerji santralleri, elektrik üretim tesisleri, petrol rafinerileri, maden sahaları, doğal gaz altyapıları ve iletim hatları gibi yüksek risk barındıran faaliyet alanlarını kapsayan enerji sektörü, iş sağlığı ve güvenliğinin en önemli olduğu alanlardan biridir. Bu doğrultuda enerji sektöründe iş sağlığı ve güvenliği, yalnızca çalışanların yaşam ve sağlık hakkının korunması açısından değil, aynı zamanda işverenlerin hukuki ve cezai sorumluluklarının yönetilmesi bakımından da kritik öneme sahiptir.

Doğal gaz piyasasında lisans sahibi bir şirketin paylarının devri, yalnızca Türk Ticaret Kanunu çerçevesinde tamamlanacak bir şirketler hukuku işlemi değildir.
