A safe place to live can be the turning point between early recovery and a stable, independent future.
On September 21, 2026, community members, nonprofit partners, and local businesses will gather at Vivace in North Hills for the Emmaus House Dinner Fundraiser, an evening dedicated to helping make that turning point possible.
For more than 20 years, Emmaus House has helped bridge the gap between addiction and independent living. The organization provides safe, affordable transitional housing in central Raleigh for men who are at least six months clean and sober, actively participating in a 12-step recovery program, working with a sponsor, and employed.
Emmaus House operates five properties, including renovated homes and apartment residences that offer increasing independence. Beyond a place to live, residents find the stability, accountability, and supportive community needed to continue their recovery and prepare for long-term independent living.
Ward and Smith is proud to sponsor the 2026 Emmaus House Dinner Fundraiser. Proceeds from the evening will help Emmaus House continue providing the housing and support that make lasting recovery possible.
