Ward and Smith attorney Michael Parrish serves as Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Craven County Bar Association this year.
He previously served as Secretary and Treasurer for the organization last year.

As a civil litigator based in Ward and Smith’s New Bern office, Michael maintains a diverse practice before various federal and state courts, including bankruptcy courts and the North Carolina Business Court. He has significant experience at all stages of litigation in cases involving a broad range of commercial, organizational and business, contract, landlord-tenant, collections, trusts and estates, tax, and bankruptcy issues, and he also frequently handles appellate matters in those areas.
His leadership within the Craven County Bar Association adds to his work on behalf of clients and his involvement in the local legal community.
