Macfarlanes has advised wealth management firm Canaccord Wealth on the acquisition of the front office teams and client assets of EFG Harris Allday from EFG International.

EFG Harris Allday is a UK wealth management firm primarily serving high-net-worth individuals across the Midlands region. The business currently sits within EFG Private Bank, itself a subsidiary of EFG International. The EFG Harris Allday team is entrusted with approximately £3.1 billion in client assets as at 31 December 2025.

Canaccord Wealth is part of Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., a leading independent, full-service financial services firm headquartered in Toronto, Canada with operations in the US, the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. Canaccord Wealth focuses on delivering integrated wealth management, including investment management and financial planning services, to clients in the UK, Crown Dependencies, the Middle East and Asia.
