Our Banking and Finance team has advised HSBC UK on an eight-figure funding package provided to Rotala Group, supporting the acquisition of key operational and commercial assets across the UK.
Rotala Group, a West Midlands-based bus operator serving both public and private sector customers, has used the funding to acquire the freehold of its Heathrow depot and land for a new depot in Bolton, strengthening and expanding its operational footprint across key regions. The funding has also supported the continued growth of the Group's self-storage business, Storagely, through the acquisition of additional sites in Shenstone, Coventry and Langley Mill.
The transaction will support Rotala's long-term growth ambitions, enhancing its transport operations while enabling further diversification of its business through strategic investment in infrastructure and property assets.
Our team was led by Partner Navin Prabhakar, with support from Principal Associates Sarina Mann and Elizabeth Napier (Real Estate).
Andy Benson, Senior Relationship Director at HSBC UK said: "Rotala Group has ambitious plans for growth and diversification, and we're delighted to have supported the business with funding that will help deliver those objectives.
