TUPE Reform: Amended TUPE Regulations Come Into Force

New Regulations came into effect on 31 January 2014, designed to simplify the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and to codify some of appeal decisions that have been made in recent years.

New Regulations came into effect on 31 January 2014, designed to simplify the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) and to codify some of appeal decisions that have been made in recent years. Please click here for a summary of the changes.

The Government's Guidance on the changes can be found here. ACAS has announced that it will be producing a full guide to the new Regulations.
 
Although the changes are by no means radical it will be interesting to see how the case law develops.
