Recent amendments to Turkish currency protection regulations have eliminated previous restrictions on foreign currency payments in movable property sales contracts between Turkish residents. The changes restore the regulatory framework to its pre-2022 state, allowing parties to freely denominate contract prices and payment obligations in foreign currency or index them to foreign exchange rates.
