Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that our associate, Lujza Csanyi, has been appointed to the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Health Law Executive for the 2026-2027 term. Lujza will be joining as the Technology Liaison.
The members of the OBA Health Law Section work in private practice, government agencies, regulatory bodies or in-house and deal with diverse issues including complaints and discipline of health care professionals, mental health/consent and capacity, corporate health, duties and standards of care, and health policy.
Patient rights, privacy of health information, end of life decision-making, and the regulation of health professionals are among the hot topics debated in the Health Law Section's programs and publications.
