WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that as of February 17, 2026, Phil Wallner has been promoted to Partner in the firm's Commercial Litigation Group.

Phil has been with the firm since 2023, and has a practice focused on resolving complex disputes for businesses and property stakeholders. His work spans both court proceedings and strategic dispute resolution, with regular appearances before Ontario courts and tribunals. Phil has acted in a broad range of contested matters involving commercial leasing, construction liens, insolvency issues, and related disputes. A tenacious and tireless advocate, Phil's practical and creative solutions make it no surprise that clients look to him for tactical advice.
