The Temporary decree Advisory Centre for Whistleblowers has been extended to 1 July 2016 pending the entry into force of the House for Whistleblowers Bill.
The Temporary decree Advisory Centre for Whistleblowers has been
extended to 1 July 2016 pending the entry into force of the House
for Whistleblowers Bill. The Advisory Centre for Whistleblowers
advises and supports people who suspect malpractice in or around
the workplace. The Temporary decree will automatically expire if
the House for Whistleblowers Bill enters into effect earlier.
The initiative proposal House for Whistleblowers Bill passed the
Second Chamber of parliament in 2013. In 2014, the First Chamber
started its plenary debate on the bill, but suspended this to allow
for an amendment of the bill which has been passed in the Second
Chamber. Prior to the resumption of the plenary debate in the First
Chamber, a preliminary investigation will take place on 29
September.
