The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC")
and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
("FRB") extended the comment period regarding a
proposed rule to amend the standards for the enhanced supplementary
leverage ratio ("eSLR"). The comment period, which was
originally set to expire on May 21, was extended to June 25,
2018.
As
previously covered, the proposal would recalibrate and align
the eSLR for global systemically important bank holding companies,
and also amend the corresponding total loss-absorbing capacity
requirements.
