An organization calling itself Bankrupting America, has created a video series called "The Government."
A spoof patterned after the TV series, "The Office," that is set in the Department of Every Bureaucratic Transaction, known by its acronym DEBT. The mission of the agency is to make sure that every dollar of appropriated funds is spent in order to avoid budget cuts in the subsequent fiscal year. Each episode is only three or four minutes, and very clever. Just remember: this is a parody.....the federal government isn't really like this......or so I keep telling myself.
