Sweden proposes a national ban on consumer products containing PFAS above specified thresholds, covering cosmetics, ski wax, textiles, leather, and food contact materials. Companies manufacturing, importing, or selling affected products must map their supply chains and ensure reliable information from suppliers. The regulation would take effect January 1, 2028, ahead of broader EU restrictions currently under review.
