Qatar: Real Estate and Construction

Qatar has introduced Law No. (8) of 2026, implementing significant changes to its real estate leasing framework through amendments to the 2008 leasing legislation. The reforms establish a standardized QAR 250 lease registration fee, streamline rental dispute resolution procedures, and extend mandatory registration requirements to beneficiaries of state property who sublease to third parties.
