London – Mayer Brown represented the underwriters on Teva Pharmaceutical’s US$4.9 billion equivalent multi-tranche senior notes offering, which closed earlier today.

The cross-border Mayer Brown team was led by London-based High Yield and Leveraged Finance partners David Becker, Rob Mathews and Ben Bierwirth and senior associate Fani Chlampoutaki. Other members of the Mayer Brown team included Henninger “Hank” Bullock (New York), Britt Miller (Chicago), Remmelt Reigersman (Palo Alto) and Alexandra Newsom (San Francisco/Palo Alto).

David Becker, Rob Mathews, Benjamin Bierwirth and Fani Chlampoutaki joined Mayer Brown earlier this month and have a long history of representing the underwriters, initial purchasers, lenders and other financial advisers to Teva across Teva’s capital structure.
