The New Procurement Regulation implements Article 40 of Presidential Regulation No. 38 of 2015 on Government Cooperation with Business Entities in the Provision of Infrastructure (“PR 38/2015”), and repeals and replaces its immediate predecessor, LKPP Regulation No. 1 of 2025 (the “Old Procurement Regulation”).

On 4 June 2026, the Minister of Health (“MoH”) issued Regulation No. 6 of 2026 on Hospitals (the “New Hospital Regulation”), which was promulgated on 12 June 2026 and became effective on that date. Note that while GR 24/2026 is already in force, the requirement to export Strategic Commodities exclusively through the designated state-owned enterprise is subject to a separate transition deadline, discussed further below under "Transitional Arrangements".

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia is deliberating a draft Law on Oil and Natural Gas (“Draft Law”) that is intended to replace Law No. 22 of 2001 on Oil and Natural Gas, as amended by Law No. 6 of 2023 on the Enactment of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2022 on Job Creation into Law (“Law 22/2001”). The Draft Law was submitted by the President and is dated 3 March 2026, and remains subject to deliberation and approval by the House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat or “DPR”) before enactment.
