Following the result in the United Kingdom's EU referendum, a new Brexit vocabulary has been created to explain the many different and complicated arrangements that may result from Brexit. From a Soft Brexit based on an agreed Withdrawal Agreement (with or without a Backstop), a Hard or No Deal Brexit, or a Canada or Norway model, to delaying Brexit and Article 50 revocation, each of the different Brexit outcomes will have their own unique impact on our clients.
Leading up to exit day on 29 March 2019, Walkers' expert lawyers will be providing plain language analysis in a series of briefings to explain the possible consequences for Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey and Ireland that may arise from the different Brexit scenarios.
