The U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control extended the expiration date of certain exemptions from the Ukraine-related sanctions regulations.

General License 13F, which replaces General License 13E, authorizes certain transactions necessary to divest or transfer debt, equity or other holdings in certain blocked persons as they relate to EN+ Group PLC, GAZ Group and United Company RUSAL PLC. With regard to transactions authorized by this General License involving GAZ Group (or entities in which GAZ Group owns a 50 percent or greater interest), the expiration date has been extended to 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on December 12, 2018. (The expiration date applicable to EN+ Group PLC or United Company RUSAL PLC, or entities in which those persons own a 50 percent or greater interest, was previously extended to the same date.)

General License 15A, which replaces General License 15, authorizes certain activities necessary to the maintenance or wind-down of operations or existing contracts with GAZ Group. Activities that were in effect prior to April 6, 2018, are authorized through 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on December 12, 2018.
